Oil on wooden panel in good untouched condition, heavy impasto to the paint which looks a little dirty, signed and dated lower left, housed in the original stippled gilt frame which has one or two small scratches, signature indistinct, pencil label verso inscribed Bertrond Marches Ostend 1923 although the work is clearly dated 1924.
