Pastel on a cream coloured paper which has not been laid down and shows a fair amount of undulation to the extent that some of the pastel has touched against the glass notably just above the centre, a few vertical lines running down the right hand side approx. 2 inches in from the margin, these are in pastel and do appear to be part of the work, signed lower right, possibly one or two small dirt or fox specks marks on the untouched paper but overall in good original condition with a speckled wood mount and probably the original gilt gesso frame, label verso for Marlborough Rare Books & Fine Art Ltd, along with a Christie's stencil number 70TZ and an Alfred Stiles & Sons Ltd label.
