A set of twelve Hepplewhite style mahogany dining chairs two with arms, with shield backs, with brass studded leather upholstered seats

Age- late 19th/early 20th century.
One carver- Damage/split to the wood on front right arm support. Hairline split to the wood on the shield back close to where left arm joins.
Other carver- 2 x splits to the leather seat. Split to wood on back of left arm, slight but will become worse in due course. Some slight old damage to the moulding at the top of both front legs.
One diner- Leather seat has bad split. Small piece of wood now missing to one joint on the back. Back legs a little unsteady. Old damage to moulding at the top of front right leg.
One diner- Split to leather seat. Back legs a little unsteady.
Leather has that overall worn look in general.
One diner- Split to leather seat. Slight damage to moulded edge at the top of front right leg.
One diner- Back broken at base of shield back. Old damege to the moulding at the top of both front legs.
One diner- Olds poor repair to the base of the shield back. Old damage to the moulding at the top of trhe front legs.
One diner-Old damge to the moulding to the top of the front legs and some more recent damge to the base of the front left leg.
One diner- Some old damage to the moulding at the top of the front legs.
One diner- The back legs are a little unsteady. The joins at the base of the shield back are sprung slightly as is the top rail at both ends.
