A 19th century French ormolu and cut glass inkstand, with ages of man cast taperstick, now mounted on a rectangular pottery plinth base simulating malachite, 7.25in.

Overall of good rich ormolu colour although the base of the central candlestick is looking more matted, probably a sconce missing from the top of the candlestick, one of the cut glass wells has two tiny nicks around the rim, these are hard to spot and overall glass is good, the base is ceramic pottery painted and glazed to look like malachite. Overall fair to good condition.
