Oil on original canvas, a slight fold in the canvas showing in the top left corner and very fine stretcher marks showing in the blue really only on the right hand side, otherwise paint is a little dirty and a few small scuff marks notably one towards the top right corner, one or two lines of fine craquelure most notably just above the lower roof of the central tower, signed and dated lower right, housed in probably the original gilt frame which is now looking a little tatty, original label for Arthur Tooth & Sons verso.
