A pair of George III pierced silver wine coasters by Richard Morton & Co, with engraved armorial and decorated and engraved with scrolls and urns, with turned wooden bases and beaded rim, Sheffield, 1778, 5in.

1st coaster- There are one or two minor knocks around the rim leaving it very slightly mishapen in places. There is a tiny split to the rim. There are numerous tiny nicks/dings around the base in general with one quite prominent ding, otherwise the overall condition is good conducive with age and use. Marks visible but beginning to rub.
2nd coaster- Again, there are a couple of minor knocks to the rim leaving it a little mishapen. Two small pieces of the scroll decoration have become detached from the top rim (only really visible with a loupe). Again, there are a few minor nicks/dings around the base, otherwise overall condition is good, conducive with age and use. Marks quite rubbed.
