A pair of Victorian unmarked gold and diamond set checkered enamel circular buttons/studs, each inscribed en verso "G.S.S. Xmas 1875", dia. 22mm.

There are some surface scratches to the gold where the inscriptions are and also the inscriptions are a little tired. There are some very minor nicks and scratches to the surface of the enamel on both buttons. The diamonds are very approximately 0.10ct each. Overall condition is otherwise good.
