Fairly thinly painted oil on an old hardboard panel, varnish discoloured and would benefit from a clean, signed lower left, in the original white painted canvas lined frame which is rather grubby, title inscribed verso with the price £10, this work was sold through these rooms a few ago having come in for sale from a private vendor, at the time one of our members of staff remembered that Yates used to paint on Eastbourne seafront and recalled this type of work.
