A WWI and WWII medal group to Dresser Edwin John Robert Corin (1891-1976), comprising: 1914-15 Star; 1914-18 WM; 1914-19 VM, 1939-45 DM; Royal Norwegian Order of St Olav, crossed swords, gold and enamel; Order of Orange-Nassau, Knights Cross, military; and Pro Dania 1940-45, with miniatures, two additional WWII miniatures and a 1935 Borough of Bromley Jubilee medal

Note: Corin served as a dresser on H.S. Letitia, a Donaldson Line liner requisitioned in 1914 and lost having gone aground in 1917 off Halifax, Nova Scotia. According to family oral history, he was a director (founder?) of Niroc Shipping Services Ltd (liquidated in 1976, the year of his death) and, in this position, worked for the Security Service (MI5) during WWII.
