Oil on an old oak panel, looks to have been cleaned over the years which may well have eaten into the paint particularly in the sky, also now rather dirty but otherwise in good order, no sign of any signature, attribution to artist on the frame, frame is a late 19th century gilt gesso example which is now looking a little tatty.
