A late Victorian gold, white opal and green enamel brooch, the central oval stone bordered by six triple opal clusters, 1.25in.

One of the small opals within one of the triple clusters has a tiny surface chip. The main opal has a small scratch to the top surface and en verso there are a few more deep scratches to the surface but nothing major. The overall condition is otherwise good. The box has a few scuff marks, in line with age.
The pin is a standard bar and hook but with no safety arm.
