Comes for sale from a deceased estate in Tunbridge Wells, where there was an eclectic collection of 20th century art, studio pottery etc.. The lady of the house was an amateur painter and the couple bought artworks they liked at galleries and sometimes from auction.
Honest original condition. A few white specks at the top where the paint hasn't reached the deoths of the textured paper. Colours good. On a card backing and slim silvered frame. London framer's stamp and Graham Gallery of Tunbridge Wells label verso. Note the Gallery is no longer running and shows a telephone number of 0892 (lacking the 1 of the current 01892) so giving some indication of the age of the work.
