Provenance: Collected by the vendor's grandmother in Hong Kong or on her travels in mainland China before 1950.

Some of carvings have been pierced for gold wire mounts, the coral figure of a boy holding a sprig of lotus has been broken into two pieces but is held together by the gold wire, the chalcedony carving of peaches has a tiny chip to one end, otherwise all the carvings seem to be in good condition.
