Two Canakkale pottery ewers, Turkey 19th century, the first of baluster form, modelled in relief with a medallion and flowerhead motifs, on a mottled green ground, the second of more typical form with ropetwist handle with a dark brown glaze, 33.5cm & 45.5cm

The tall green Canakkale pottery ewer has some slight glaze losses around the rim and to some of the raised areas, there is some old restoration around the neck which has started to flake away, the handle has been broken and re-stuck in two sections.
Smaller dark brown glaze ewer is generally a little grubby with some typical minor glaze imperfections otherwise in good condition.
