A Chinese black and cinnabar lacquer fan shaped box and cover, 19th century, the cover decorated with three boys seated in a garden with a mountainous landscape beyond, with diaper and fret work ground behind them, the sides decorated with repeating with bands of wan, 25cm, some damage

The right side of the cover has been split with some chipping and losses to the corners, the base has some slight chips to the inner rim, the 30mm wide loss to the lacquer and other areas of lacquer which has raised and blistered slightly.
