A Chinese pale celadon bowenite jade teapot, 20th century, with an 18th century pale celadon jade cover, the compressed globular teapot with C shaped handle and scroll spout, 20cm across, the cover 7.1cm diam.

Please note that tea pot cover is testing as bowenite on the refractive index, but has a fibrous structure similar to nephrite . We therefore are saying that the entire teapot is bowenite 20th century.
Cover has a hole drilled through knopp to underside of cover, teapot has a shallow chip to outer rim and few tiny shallow chips to inner rim and some slight imperfections to stone, otherwise good.
