A Chinese export ivory brise fan, c.1900, the guards carved in relief with dragons, figures and phoenixes and the sticks with figures amid pavilions and trees, 20cm.

A bit grubby, the ivory has slightly bowed to some of the sticks of which there are 22 and 2 guards, the ribbon has broken and on one of the sticks a vertical rib has a tiny bit of damage to it, otherwise in good condition.
