Watercolour laid onto a card backing that is now starting to come away, with undulation running throughout the work, colours still strong, a little light foxing noted above the roof tops on the left, a small scuff in the barrel on the lower left, signed and dated lower right, curiously the card this is laid onto shows matching colouring perhaps this was done in order to make the work fit the frame, frame is an old glazed moulded gilt example which is looking rather tatty.
