A George III mahogany hour repeating bracket clock, with silvered Roman chapter ring, strike / silent and subsidiary date dial, signed Jno. L Wynn, Alresford, with unsigned twin fusee movement, 21in.

Overall in good clean condition with appearance of having been lightly restored within the past 10 - 20 years or so, top handle has been lacquered and now showing some oxidisation spots, top of case appears to have come apart and been re-stuck at some point, it is not properly relocated and ideally need re-fixing, scroll mount below that lacking a pin from the centre, pineapple finials look later, dial in good condition, one or two oxidisation spots showing on the silvering, small cracks and small losses to the wood bordering of the dial which is concealed when the door is shut, side lattices look a little course and may be later, silkwork replaced, back door with a few fine cracks running through the veneers, lower hinge wobbly, movement not signed, comes with pendulum and associated key. Running but not tested for timekeeping.
