A Japanese cherrywood, ivory, horn, mother of pearl and wood inlaid single case inro, 19th century, relief decorated inlay to one side with two quail with an oval two character engraved seal lower left and two doves / pigeons to the other side, the top of the cover with peaches and a butterfly, 9cm.

Of nice patination, all the inlay is present, the odd minor mark consistent with age, good condition.
