gouache on paper,
Carnival parade along the esplanade,
signed,
18.5 x 24.5in.
Estimate £300-500

Gouache ink and watercolour on a buff coloured paper, overall in good untouched condition, paper appears to bulge out slightly at the middle suggesting that it is not laid down, some of the unpainted paper at the top where the white of the clouds is present is perhaps a little darker than elsewhere, signed top right, in probably the original frame which is now a little split and tatty, albeit with a later? blue card mount.
