Some slight undulation of paper but may well be laid down, overall colours showing some degree of fading but still retaining some pinks and reds, overall green tones look fair, blues in the sky perhaps a little lost, slight acid staining around the mount and a few small fox marks notably in the sky, signed and dated lower right, in an old discoloured card mount and plain gilt frame, original artists label verso inscribed with the title, patches on the back where other labels were once present, this may have been exhibited at the RWS in 1889 under the title 'Weeds'.
