This lot comes for sale from a descendant of the artist for whom we have sold a number of works in the past, does appear to have once been stretched but now is presented as a rolled up unmounted canvas, paint is a little dirty with a number of small scratches and losses that go through the paint but not through the canvas, most notably two scuffs top left of sky, a series of 8 small scuffs running horizontally from 9 o'clock towards the middle of the work and some paint flaking towards the lower left, but other small losses occur elsewhere. Not signed.
