OIl on original canvas which is showing a little undulation dipping inwards on the left where the two windows show and with a very slight diagonal crease running approx. 3 inches over the artists surname, one or two small dirt marks scattered about the work which would certainly benefit from a clean but no further faults noted and certainly no overpainting, in its original fabric lined plain gilt frame which is equally a little off colour, no labels or inscriptions verso other than apparently the dated 1970 on the back of the canvas.
Comes for sale from a local estate which includes lots 1390 - James Lloyd, 1392 - Wilhemina Barnes-Graham and Lot 1396 - Dennis Mitchell bronze, these works belonged to a couple of holidayed every year in Cornwall and every year acquired a work of art from a local gallery.
