Lots 1293 - 1299 comes for sale from a private collection in Kent, the owners mother, Violet Byfield and her twin sister, Lillian, modelled for the artist.

This oil is in highly original untouched condition, fairly thickly painted on the original canvas, would benefit from a clean but no other faults noted, not signed, pin holes showing near the corners, not framed, a fairly recent label on the back with attribution to artist.
