A pair of large Chinese famille verte powder blue ground jars and covers, late 19th century, each painted with battle scenes with figures on horseback to shaped reserves and flowers and rockwork in landscapes to smaller reserves, 34.5cm, wood stands, one cover damaged,

Both jars have some occasional minor scratching, one cover has been badly broken with a chunk out from around the break and resprayed and restored, the other cover has a large crack to one side extending up to the centre, the wood stand has some slight losses to the frieze.
