A Worcester green ground polychrome ovoid tea caddy and cover and a similar scalloped dish, c.1780, the tea caddy painted with fantastical birds in landscapes with gilt scrollwork cartouches, knop finial lacking, height 16cm, the dish painted with flower sprays within gilt scrollwork and green banded borders, 15.5cm, both unmarked

The green enamel ground to the caddy has deteriorated in patches all over, there is some scratching to the glaze particularly on the shoulder, the cover is lacking its finial. The dish has a manufacturing shallow chip to the edge which is over gilded, there are some fine lines to he edge of the cavetto which appear to be under the glaze, no chips, cracks or restoration.
