The run mostly limp cloth (gen. good, some spines faded); 1977-86 are cloth with d/w. (1986 has fore-edge stain, affects corner part of text). 1911 - old limp leather, spine worn and joints split; 1912 - orig. printed wrapps. (some wear, sl. loss and soiling, and on early leaves); 1914 - rebound brown cloth, preserves printed upper wrapper, new e/ps., good; 1920 - rebound cloth backed grey paper bds. (some sl. wear and staining, new e/ps.); 1924 - rebound brown cloth, new e/ps., orig. wrapps preserved, good; 1926 - rebound cloth, new e/ps., orig. wrapps preserved (some stains and frays), fore-edge stain goes onto some text, 1929 -rebound cloth, new e/ps., orig. wrapps. preserved (some fraying); 1935 - orig. printed wrapps., spine neatly replaced; 1940 - orig. limp pict. cloth (discoloured, spine worn, joints split and covers loose).
