A Japanese cloisonné enamel desk set, 1920s, mounted with two Chinese Qing dynasty pale celadon jade plaques, retailed by Yamanaka & Co., each piece in yellow enamel with chain link border, the stationary rack mounted with a 17th/18th century jade ‘dragon’ plaque, 5.5cm, the cigarette dispenser box with an 18th/19th century jade ‘He He Erxian’ plaque, with jade bead handle to the base drawer, also comprising an inkstand with a pair of hexagonal inkwells with chalcedony ‘cat’ finials, a calendar holder and a pair of ashtrays, together with an associated jade mounted matchbox holder Inkstand 31cm wide
