Turkish Crimea medal name Lieut H Cardew 1855 - worn from polishing
together with a letter to Mrs Cardew with a short length of lace inscribed 'picked up in the Redan 1855' and a gold braided tassell, other related family paperwork including a letter addressed to Captain Cardew Royal Engineers Quebec
And a large period black and white photograph of the recipient wearing the medals housed in a rather tatty frame
Clasp on crimea medal is Sebastopol, no mention noted in diary of which Batallion he was part of.
