Six sheets of paper used for each image, condition - the lowest sheet in both cases is more stained and discoloured, the higher up the scroll one goes the better condition the paper is in, however there is numerous dirt specks, fox marks and other marking upon these and inspection is recommended, backed onto canvas some years ago and mounted onto heavy brass mounted mahogany rollers.
Paper is laid not wove. These are attached to approximately 2 inch diameter metal cased wooden rolls with iron pin fittings and mahogany base rails with brass loop handles.
Therer are no visible watermarks.
