A Victorian mahogany pedestal desk, gilt tooled, red leather writing surface above an arrangement of nine drawers, on plinth base, W.5ft 1in.

Usual minor marks and knocks condiucive with age and use. There is a large split to the leather and wood to the left section of the top. There is also a split to the centre section and another to the right section. The leather is quite heavily scratched and scuffed in general, but mainly in two areas. There are some minor knocks to one corner.
Onerpedestal has a split to the wood down the full lenght of the back panel. Only three of the four casters are present and they are replacments as the the old areas can be seen. The bottom front righ corner of the pedestal is quite scuffed. The other pedestal has a split to the veneer to the base front panel and there is a piece of veneer missing from the left side base panel near to the front corner. Both pedestals have old slight damage to one of their horizontal drawer dividers.
