A 19th century French ormolu and Sevres style porcelain mantel clock, decorated with a nesting bird and two putti and inset with plaques decorated with cherubs and flowers, the dial signed Boyer à Paris, countwheel movement stamped Guyenot à Paris, 21in.

Untouched for many years much of the ormolu has now been rubbed away to the base bronze, enamelled dial has numerous cracks running through it along with damage around the winding holes, hand looks original, porcelain plaques looks good, top two have retained their gilding, the lower floral plaques have wear to the gilding and the central base one has a little rubbing in the lower right corner, movement original and complete though not tested for timekeeping, comes with pendulum but no key, overall a quality piece that should restore to good effect.
