A Japanese guribori lacquer double gourd shaped netsuke, Edo period, late 18th/early 19th century, girded by a silvered metal band with a hinged loop himotoshi and cylindrical stopper, 6cm high

Condition:
Two deep scratches visible towards the base of the upper half of the bottle. An old loss to the carving towards the upper rim of the lacquer. Unable to assess condition under metal mounts. Generally grubby, would benefit from a clean.
