Condition:
Two comb-teeth incomplete although both detached sections remain beneath the comb; impressed maker’s mark beneath comb; completeness of cylinder pins unknown but clockwork mechanism working and tuneful. Some corrosion to comb and barrel; Impressed number close to mainspring, 14179. Key not original but fits. Case faded; front panel with evidence of old woodworm; the two top hinges a little loose, each lacking the four screws needed. Please telephone to hear the musical mechanism.
