Royal interest: A collection of ephemera relating The R.M.S Queen Mary to include a photograph of the liner with two accompanying vessels, singed throughout by the crew and then captain (Commodore Robert B. Irving), titled and dated verso "R.M.S Queen Mary" Feb: 1937 - Dec: 1938, 15 x 20cm, framed and glazed, together with a selection of photographs taken on board R.M.S Queen Mary, mostly to include Frances Farmer (b.28.11.1909) a nurse onboard the vessel at the time to include three group portraits of medical staff with officers, a study believed to feature the vessels' namesake, Queen Mary of Teck onboard The RMS Queen Mary, accompanied by a colleague of nurse Farmer's, 15 x 20cm, together with a singed portrait photograph of captain Commodore Robert B. Irving and another study of the R.M.S Queen Mary (6) also together with nurse Frances Farmer's RI5I350 Continuous Certificate Of Discharge, detailing her dates of service, in continuous very good conduct onboard The RMS Queen Mary from 17.2.1937 - 23.11.1938, then The Franconia, December 24.12.1938 - 9.8.1939, The Laconia 12.8.1939 - 4.10.1939 (the day following the breakout of war with Germany) and The Queen Elizabeth from 11.10.46 - 29.3.47, singed by various captains, voyages listed as New York, round the world, North Cape Cruise and foreign, also together with a photograph of The Queen Elizabeth at sea, with dedication verso dedicated to Frances Farmer, dated 30.6.1948, also together with a 1939 Cunard Whitestar Ltd R.M.S Franconia log book (northern and southern hemisphere world cruise, January 5th to May 31st 1939) containing a large collection of Cunard Whitestar cruise programmes (qty).
