Vases whilst decorated as a pair have different strengths of enamelling with one darker than the other, both vases with four character marks to the underside, both with small firing flaws, the paler vase with chip to the rim and hairline crack running down one side, pair of crackleglaze dishes with scattered firing marks, one with a brownish discolouration showing through the crackle glaze, the other a whiter finish.
