A handsome pair of Victorian parcel gilt silver oval comports by Hunt & Roskell (lacking glass bowls), each with beaded rim above a turned foliate engraved stem, surmounted with two seated musicians, the base rim engraved 'Hunt & Roskell Late Storr & Mortimer 3821', London, 1866, height 16.5cm, length 27cm, 89oz.

Lacking both bowls. Some wear to the gilding in places on both. One is lacking two nuts from the underside of the base. The strings on one of the string instruments are a little mis-shapen to one area. Overall condition is otherwise good. Hallarks clear.
