A Japanese late Meiji period set of lacquered model weapons on display stands, comprising archer's bow, samurai sword and other weapons, together with a large fabric carp motif, housed in the original pine box
Condition:
- bow on stand, overall 58cm with some scuffing to the lacquer base, feather work to arrows mostly eroded, but otherwise good.
- sword on stand, overall 40cm, in good condition, does come out from scabbard, mother of pearl inset lances all in good order
- lacquer sword with light wear to the gold paint, blade is made of wood
- smaller bow is good
- carp ornament - very slightly faded
- box rather dirty but still retaining original label and inscription
