There are two framed and glazed sets of gouache portraits which are individually set into a frame with individual glazing bars and glazed panels, first frame has a few small holes to the black coloured borders of the individual miniatures, possibly old worm damage which has been backed with a black paper, the second frame there is more restoration to the actual miniatures themselves, the two portraits upper right have tears and restoration to the borders, there is some overpainting to a number of the portraits on the lower half of the second frame indicating restoration and with the frames there is probably flaked gesso work to the frames which has been black overpainted and the old frames have later cardboard backing which has been painted black, each of the frames measures 81 x 72cm.
