A late 19th/early 20th century Chinese Export silver tea tray by Luen Wo, Shanghai, of shaped oval form, with inset handles, pierced gallery decorated with dragons amongst foliage and fan shaped textured panels engraved with bamboo and prunus etc. 19.75in, 63 oz.

Provenance: William Moule and his family, who were Christian missionaries in Ningpo (Ningbo) and Shanghai in the late 19th and early 20th century; thence by descent.

There appears to be a small old repair to the raised gallery where one of the sections turning inwards are joined, otherwise in good condition.
