The luthier Frederic-William Chanot (1857-1911) continued the work of his father Georges Chanot who had premises in London from 1851 gaining a strong reputation for fine copies of Cremonese instruments by Stradivari and Guarneri.

Some light surface scuffing and scratching to the case but overall in good honest condition. Wear commensurate with use to the back of the neck. No sign of any cracks or breaks.
