In both cases gouache and pencil on a buff coloured paper which looks evenly discoloured and both works have extensive foxing scattered throughout the paper, both look rather flat and are thought to be laid down, housed in yellow card mounts and slim gilt frames, both retain a retailers typed label and one has the label for Charles Spencer.
