A Paul Fouillen decorated Quimper pottery vase, c.1930, decorated with a primitive style design in shades of aubergine, green and brown, with further sponge decoration around the rim and base, signed, with P. Fouillen Quimper and 'AP' marks to base, 16.5cm

A 5mm overpainted raised firing fault that shows traces of discolouration to one of the 's' shaped purple motives near the rim.
There are occasional instances of small unglazed patches to the vase, the most obvious of which are a small unglazed patch to one of the yellow and green 'heart' shaped motives, and another overpainted unglazed patch below it.
Other minor firing and glaze imperfections, occasional instances of slight crazing to the glaze and minor surface scratches.
