A George III silver tankard by Peter & William Bateman, of cylindrical form, with reeded band, 'S' scroll handle and later? engraved monogram, the hinged domed cover with pierced thumbpiece, London, 1810, height 20.8cm, 26.3oz.

Condition:
Several small dents around the main body. Several larger dents to the dome on top of the cover. Cover a little loose in situ. A few minor surface scratches in places, commensurate with age and mild use. Thumbpiece perhaps has been pushed forward?? Hallmarks clear but with some rubbing to the marks on the main body.
