A pair of unusual early 19th century oval silk Chenille embroideries, one depicting a seated lady surrounded by a lion and donkey, the other depicting a seated shepherdess under tree with two sheep. Both have water coloured faces, arms hands and skies. The embroidery worked in places in a heavy knot stitch, giving the embroidery a stump work effect. 25.5cm wide x 32 cm high.
Condition - the silk and embroideries have no damage or fading.
Both gilt frames have minor damage to the edges.
