An early 19th century brass inlaid mahogany lancet shaped mantel clock by G. Willson of London, with pendulum and door-key, no winding key, 45cm. Condition - fair to good, not tested as working

Condition:
No woodworm seen; all four feet renewed; four old cracks to the arch, clearly visible; claret lining to side interiors renewed; nut to secure pendulum whilst in transit missing; single key locks/unlocks rear door and front glass dial door; convex dial with a flake between 3 and 4 at the chapter ring; convex glass dial-door hinge re-soldered and re-attached with modern screws. Movement backplate has had two fairly modern brass braces added, needed to lock the backplate of the movement into place - these braces held by a screw visible at the outside of each side. Can’t say whether this movement is original to this case. Movement has been set going over several days and appears to be keeping good time, although not guaranteed. No winding key.
