A Chinese yellow ground medallion bowl, Guangxu six character mark and of the period (1875-1908), the interior painted in underglaze blue with three goats in a landscape, the border with prunus and ribbon tied auspicious objects, the exterior painted with goats in landscapes to three medallions, interspersed by antiques, peonies and fruit on a sgraffito yellow ground, 15cm diameter, cracked and re-glued

Provenance - the vendor acquired this bowl from an antiques dealer while living and working in Hong Kong in the 1990s.

As catalogued; bowl rim glue-repaired, as shown; crack downward from rim almost reaching footrim, visible both inside and out with partially-concealed chip at the rim outside edge; some wear to enamels.
