**An ormolu and brass mounted leather dome top coffer, with bold studded decoration over a brown leather covering, and large brass latch, the sides with loop handles, standing upon squared gilt feet, width 140cm, depth 68cm, height 79cm

This looks to date to the mid to late 20th century, leather was once a chocolate brown but has now faded to a lighter mocha tone, brass mounts a little rubbed from polishing although it has a latch plate there is no lock to marry it up to, the weight of the lid keeping it shut, minor rubbing to the feet.
