A 19th Century French Empire style ormolu mantel clock, modelled with a figure of Odysseus standing beside a plinth with various other classical motifs, dial signed Foisse à Bologne, unsigned eight day countwheel movement, height 15in.

Overall rather dusty but the ormolu in the main with a good gilt finish just some very light rubbing to the extremities, central eagle and sheet music mount is loose and not fixed in place, left hand trophy mount is a little loose, dial very dirty with hairline crack at 10 o'clock and chipping to the left hand winding hole, hands look original, movement complete and with a delicate pendulum but not tested for timekeeping, minor spotting around the lower part of the case, no back door.
